Launching SiteControl's FTP tool

Because you are already logged in to SiteControl when you launch this tool, it is able to use your existing account information to establish a connection to the server. No additional configuration or input is required from you.

To launch the Web-based FTP tool:

  1. In SiteControl, select Website Tools. The Website Tools main page displays.
  2. Click Web-based FTP. This page provides general information about the FTP tool.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Login. A security warning displays. This warning is designed to ensure that the application is provided by a trusted source.
  4. Click Yes to continue. Once a connection to the server is established, the Web-based interface appears.

The left pane enables you to navigate among all the files on your computer (local file system), while the right pane displays your domain's directories and files on the Web server.
